We recommend leaving a fresh plaster skim for at least four weeks, as the plaster needs to be completely dry before applying paint.
For new, fully plastered walls, allow at least six months for the plaster to dry thoroughly.
Please see our Paint Buying Guide for advice on thinning paint for use on porous surfaces.
